# Peoplelink Aramex API (Plain PHP + PDO)

Quick scaffold for a plain-PHP JSON API using PDO and MySQL.

Setup
- Copy `api/config.php` and edit DB credentials.
- Create the database and run the migration file `migrations/001_create_schema.sql` using MySQL CLI or Workbench.

Example run (built-in PHP server, for development):

```bash
cd "Peoplelink Aramex/api/public"
php -S 127.0.0.1:8000
```

API examples
- List employees: `GET /employees`
- Get employee: `GET /employees/{id}`
- Create employee: `POST /employees` (JSON body)
- Update employee: `PUT /employees/{id}` (JSON body)
- Delete employee: `DELETE /employees/{id}`

Curl create example:

```bash
curl -X POST http://127.0.0.1:8000/employees -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"first_name":"John","last_name":"Doe","employee_number":"E123"}'
